Overview

Dompet is a personal finance application built with a local-first approach. Your financial data is primarily stored on your device. Some optional features, such as Google Drive backup, Google account sign-in, and Google Play Billing, require limited data processing by third-party services.

By using Dompet, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Information you create in the app

Dompet may store the following information that you enter or generate:

transactions, notes, categories, budgets, goals, and account data
app settings, theme settings, and customization preferences
attachments you choose to add to transactions
app lock settings such as PIN fallback configuration

This information is stored locally on your device unless you explicitly use backup or export features.

Google account information

If you choose to sign in with Google for backup features, Dompet may access:

your Google account basic profile information provided by Google Sign-In
Google Drive access required to create, list, restore, or export backups

Dompet does not use Google account access for advertising.

Purchase information

If you purchase Dompet Pro, purchase processing and entitlement validation are handled through Google Play Billing. Dompet does not store your full payment card details.

Device and security-related information

Dompet may use:

biometric availability and authentication status for app lock
local notification permissions and reminder preferences
local file, gallery, or camera access when you choose to attach files or export/import backups

How We Use Your Information

We use data only to provide app functionality, including:

showing and managing your personal finance records
calculating summaries, statistics, budgets, and goals
locking and unlocking the app with PIN or biometrics
creating local backups and Google Drive backups
exporting data such as database backups, CSV, PDF, or spreadsheet reports
enabling premium purchase and restore flows
sending local reminder notifications configured by you

Data Storage

Local storage

Most Dompet data is stored locally on your device using an on-device database.

Google Drive backups

If you use Google Drive backup, backup files may be stored in:

Google Drive appDataFolder, which is private to the app and not normally visible in Google Drive
a visible Google Drive folder if you explicitly use the export-to-folder feature

Backup files may contain your financial data, settings, categories, budgets, goals, and related app data.

Permissions

Depending on the features you use, Dompet may request access to:

internet access for Google Sign-In, Google Drive backup, exchange rates, and billing
Google account access for backup features
file storage or file picker access for import/export and attachments
camera or gallery access for transaction attachments
biometric authentication for app lock
notifications for reminder alerts

Dompet only uses these permissions for the related feature you choose to use.

Third-Party Services

Dompet may rely on the following third-party services:

Google Sign-In
Google Drive API
Google Play Billing
local device biometric APIs
local device notification APIs

These services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Data Sharing

Dompet does not sell your personal data.

Dompet does not share your financial records with third parties except when necessary to provide features you explicitly use, such as:

storing backups in your Google Drive
processing purchases through Google Play

Data Retention

Your data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, overwrite it with a restore operation, or remove backup files yourself.

Google Drive backups remain in your Google account until you delete them.

Your Choices

You can choose to:

use Dompet without Google Drive backup
remove app data from your device
delete visible backup files from Google Drive
stop using Google account backup features
disable notifications, biometrics, or attachments

Security

Dompet includes local security features such as PIN fallback and biometric lock. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device and your Google account.

Children

Dompet is not intended for children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version should be published with the app or its official documentation.
